Adventure

     A thing beyond the horizon
         A thing scarcely sought after,
            Or remembered for that matter.
       A treasure worth more than mere gold
             A fantasy of those of dulled heart
   She calls my boy, from across the land she does
               Floating on the wind her call resonates
        She is a seducer of the unwise and the hopeful
            Her drink as that from the wells of memory
                               Sweet, sweet memory.
              Answer the call and drop into the unknown
                      Or stay and lead your own boring life.
                                  It matters not to her.
                         But rest assured, adventure is always there.
