7. Eternity

Like a shadowed specter it looms,
Rising above all with it's bricks of a dulled red.
In broad daylight it is darkened with despair,
Refusing to succumb to the light.
Spawn of many roam it's twisted walkways,
These souls of the damned, yearning for freedom,
But forevermore forced to be within this prison.
With drawn faces these immortal people patrol,
Only time's end will free them from this torture.

....however it reminded me more of an old abandoned factory then an asylum of any sort XD
weird what the mind draws connections too.
